Statement from Jon English Lee
“I am thrilled to join the team at CBTS. The mission of the seminary to join with local churches in the raising up of faithful men and women for ministry is dear to my heart. Having first joined the faculty in 2020, and then having served as a CBTS Board member for the last couple of years has only stirred my desire to see the next generation of ministers trained in Confessional Baptist Theology and Practice.
I’m especially excited to take the lead in overseeing the ThM program. Academic theology and advanced research are passions of mine. My own academic studies have shaped me into the Pastor and Theologian that I am today, and I look forward to passing on to the next generation of thinkers and teachers the same passion that God has placed within me.
With God’s help, I’m committed to seeing this program saturated with robust confessionalism, biblical fidelity, and pastoral sensitivity, to the end that God would be glorified by the raising up of faithful church leaders, both here and around the world. My prayer is that God’s name be praised and His church edified through our labors at the Seminary.”
