Help Students like Sam in India

“On one hand, there is spiritual darkness all around due to the influence of false religions, & on the other, ‘Nominal Christianity’ has wreaked havoc on the church. Realistically speaking, Christianity is seen not only as a religion of outsiders but also a weak one. On top of that, the health, wealth and prosperity gospel has made things even worse. In this context, ‘Reformed Baptist Church’ of Vinukonda is a group of believers gathering together to worship God and follow Jesus Christ. The greatest spiritual needs of India are a Biblical understanding of the gospel, a faithful exposition of the Word, planting healthy churches, and revitalizing the dead ones. It is my desire to train faithful men to accomplish such a task. I am seeking seminary education to broaden my understanding of the Word of God and to get a clearer grasp on the theology of Historic Protestant Christianity from a Reformed Baptist perspective. CBTS has been extremely kind and generous in extending their support to make this almost-impossible-kind of thing possible by offering financial aid which takes care of my tuition fees. I am also thankful to CBTS for providing the invaluable Logos software for free to pursue my theological studies. In the end, I am thankful to God for his providential care and supply of my needs. “Great is the Lord and greatly he is to be praised (Psalm 145:3)”.

Help Students like Xley in the Philippines

My name is Xley Miguel and I’m from Quezon City, Philippines. The name of our church is Christ’s Heritage Church. The church was planted last year and we constituted in January of 2020. We are a relatively young church that holds to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. My desire is for our church to be able to glorify God through our Word-ministry and Gospel-centered worship. I am seeking a seminary degree because I’d like to be able to have that continuous learning for the continuous edification of the church that God has assigned for me to pastor. Given that our church is a Reformed Baptist Church, the education that CBTS provides fits the doctrinal persuasion that we have. The capability to study online helps me manage my time well and study at my own pace.
