Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary has been exempted from licensure as a religious institution from the Kentucky Council of Postsecondary Education.
CBTSeminary is an accredited member of the Association of Reformed Theological Seminaries.
A Note About Diploma Mills/Accreditation Mills
According to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education diploma mills are defined as follows:
A diploma or degree mill is any educational organization or service that sells credentials with the promise that it will take little time or coursework.
Students should be aware of such institutions and check with the Council for Higher Education to insure that the institution where they are seeking a degree is not one of these “mills.” While CBTS seeks to offer classes and degree programs that are academically credible, prospective students need to be aware of this issue.
