Tuition & Fees

All tuition balances and fees are due the first day of class each semester (Fall, Spring and modular courses). If you are interested in a payment plan, please contact the registrar.

• Application Fee: $100 
• Semester Enrollment Fee: $375 per semester for all students. Due every January & August. 
• Tuition: $75.00 per credit hour for all students. Tuition paid with class registration.
  • Payment plans available
• Onsite Auditing: No charge for evening classes. (Space limited based on student enrollment.) 
• Online Auditing: $20 per course for auditors.
• Graduation Fee: $250.

Cost Breakdown

At Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary, we have structured our fees with the express purpose of encouraging students to maintain diligence and consistency in their studies. Our biannual semester enrollment fee is $375/semester & our tuition is only $75/credit hour.  This means that the faster a student completes his course of studies, the lower his overall cost will be.  Below is a breakdown according to the time taken to complete a program. (Textbooks & Resource Fees not included in breakdown)

Students in a church that partners with CBTS do not pay tuition.  They are still responsible for semester enrollment and resource fees. Learn more about our Church Partnership Program HERE.

Master of Divinity / Bachelor of Divinity (98 credit hours)
