In this series of posts, Richard Barcellos interviews Drs. Jim Renihan and Sam Waldron on issues related to the 1689 Confession of Faith in the 21st century, the growth of Reformed Baptists worldwide, and various writing projects of both men.
Last June, MCTS took advantage of an opportunity to interview Dr. Renihan of The Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies and Dr. Waldron of MCTS on a variety of subjects.
We will be posting the interview in four parts. Today is part #1 on the relationship between confessions of faith and local church constitutions. This interview is just under 7 minutes.
Dr. Richard Barcellos is associate professor of New Testament Studies. He received a B.S. from California State University, Fresno, an M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary, and a Th.M. and Ph.D. from Whitefield Theological Seminary. Dr. Barcellos is pastor of Grace Reformed Baptist Church, Palmdale, CA. He is author of Trinity & Creation, The Covenant of Works, and Getting the Garden Right. He has contributed articles to various journals and is a member of ETS.
