Real presence of God in public worship?

Chris Arnzen interviews John Jefferson Davis about his new book Worship and the Reality of God: An Evangelical Theology of Real Presence. I have not read the book (but plan to [just ordered a reveiw copy from IVP]) and will surely not agree with everything Davis says. However, from what I can tell, this books looks very interesting.

Could it be that some in our day have emphasized the individual over the corporate, Jesus in our heart over Christ in the midst of His gathered people, all of life is worship over some of life is special worship?

Images of Christ – to have or not to have?

Below is an interview with Daniel R. Hyde answering questions related to his book In Living Color: Images of Christ and the Means of Grace. The book has a foreword by Joel Beeke and will be reviewed soon by Sam Waldron. Don’t tell him, though. He does not know I ordered him a review copy yet.

Recently on the Aramaic Broadcasting Network, James White gave a message for Muslims on a live episode of Answering Islam.  Please take six minutes and watch what he has to say.  What a powerful gospel presentation!

Getting the Most out of Bible Software

Dr. Jim Hamilton shares this with us:

David Instone-Brewer writes fabulous “Tyndale Tech” notes from Tyndale House, Cambridge. If you use Bible Software, perhaps you’ve wanted to sit down with someone who could “give you the skinny” on how to do things. David I-B has given you exactly what you need.

Here’s the email I got this morning… Read it here.

PS: He ranks BibleWorks #1.
