“Be Holy, for I am Holy”
The subject of piety has been greatly neglected in the modern church. There are many who claim the name of Christ but have no desire for personal holiness. Then there are others who seem to downplay piety in their emphasis on bold action in the public square. However, the true work of the Holy Spirit in the human heart manifests itself in new and fervent desires to be Holy as God is Holy (1 Peter 1:15) – to be conformed into the image of Christ.
Holy to the Lord is a conference devoted to recovering the necessity, power, and beauty of Biblical piety—a life wholly consecrated to God. Or, as Calvin described it, “A reverence for God joined with love for Him.”
Join us for a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship as we explore what it means to walk humbly with God, to mortify sin, and to grow in holiness through the ordinary means of grace.
This is not a call to legalism or self-righteousness, but to genuine, Spirit-empowered godliness which flows forth from faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our speakers—faithful pastors and theologians committed to the historic Reformed tradition—will expound the Scriptures and guide us into a deeper understanding of the nature and necessity of personal holiness, the role of the Word, prayer, and the local church in piety, how Christ’s finished work fuels our sanctification, and practical patterns of devotion in daily life.
Whether you are a pastor, student, homemaker, or layperson, this conference will refresh your soul and renew your vision of a life lived “in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 9:31).
